Hey Fishes
Can anyone share Mutual Fund schemes in their Portfolio?
I am a newbie and planning to start investing via SIP's in MF ( Around 4-5 SIP's of 10k each)
Thanks in advance.

Yes. I was/am part of IPG and got acquired. Don’t listen to all the negativity. Sure, a lot of things suck, but just like any agency anywhere, your happiness will come down to your team and manager. If they’re chill and supportive, it truly isn’t going to be as bad as it sounds on paper. You could be much more miserable at an agency with “great” benefits and a horrendous manager.
(Speaking as someone who is extremely disgusted by Omni and this acquisition, but is also being realistic.)
Nope. Everyone I know at Omnicom is trying to jump ship. I would steer real clear.

Usually you’ll get more money by jumping but now that the market is bad and “Omna The Hut” has eaten so many agencies you’ll most likely get lowballed by them.
The fact that their employee benefits are so cruel is proof of what you’re getting into.
I just joined an Omnicom agency because it was the only one that didn't lowball me lol

Where are you jumping from IPG agency, Publicis, or independent shop?
Budget into your decision the cost of benefits and if this means more out of pocket for you, hybrid work (commuting, clothes, lunch etc), and rate of inflation 2-3% yearly. If after this you’re still bringing in a decent pay check post benefits, 401k, taxes, and after expenses then MAYBE it could be beneficial.
I’ll caveat it’s a rough job market, so jumping could take time. Bc it’s a tough market, low ball offers are common. So don’t quit your current job until you find something that is absolutely worth it.
Depends on how much more money. Omnicom benefits suck. Are you ready for 10 days of PTO, basically no 401k match, and 3-5 days of RTO that will eat into your new salary?
If you want to make more money and a title bump you will always need to leave your agency. You traditionally get more by leaving. Good luck to you

Oh hell no, you can’t be serious. Please read through the dozens of threads on Reddit to see what is happening. No amount of money would be enough to willingly go there right now, or ever.
Todays gem in the advertising sub was a thread about an entire department at one agency that are being forced to interview for their roles because the department is being outsourced and if they don’t accept that new role then they’re fired without severance or the ability to get unemployment. Sadly the person deleted the post but the comments are still there.
Absolutely f-ig no. Joined an Omni shop 2 years ago (despite a bad gut feeling I needed a job fast after being laid off due to Pfizer loss). I have never regretted anything more. Most of my team is great and we have tried to shut out the omnicom/agency noise multiple times. It always creeps in and makes it miserable. Eventually it spreads, especially through the “business owners” of each account (typically an account VP). I’m even looking at slightly lower paid roles to get out.
Wow. Good luck to you.
If you are hireable enough to leave again after a year or two, maybe. If that's a risk, absolutely not. You don't want to be here in 2028.
Keep in mind too that the newest policy f**kery is that you can only bookerang back to an Onnicom agency once and retain your old benefits. If you leave OC, come back, leave again, and attempt to come back, you start with 10 days PTO and vesting on the $0 401(k) match all over again no matter your title--that's if you aren't actually blackballed, as they're hinting.
Diabolical
yes.
No
No it's not.
Maybe if it’s a raise or at least $20k
