Is it worth doing an mba from IE Madrid? I’ve recently been admitted but not sure about their reputation outside of Spain. On a similar note, some of my friends are in INSEAD and literally all of them are struggling to find an internship which makes me question the worth of an MBA in today’s market. Please share your experiences and suggestions.

If you’re working on a certification but still have not completed it, would you list it on your resume?

I am doing my MBA on side. I am looking for ideas on what workshops or session series I can conduct that relates to exciting non work topics or work related (this would be boring though). If you have any other ideas throw it my way.

I am tech guy with almost 3yr exp, but I want to switch to a Management role. Going for an MBA is not possible for me. I was wondering about the possibility to switch to a management role within the next 2 years without an MBA. Company/Brand is not a bar for me.

Is B school a good idea as a software engineer?

I have got an offer for Manager level at a Big 4 in Consulting. People who are 3-4 years juniors at my MBA college are at Manager level and might get promoted sooner than me. Also, a couple of immediate juniors are at Senior Manager level.

Have you been in a similar situation? Is it awkard? How to handle it after joining?

PS: If you are wondering, I do not have a Big 4 or consulting experience while they have it.
