Does JPMorgan entertain counter offers ?
I have an offer of 18.5 lpa including bonus.
At the time of HR discussion, I was under the impression that this will be 18.5 fixed + bonus
I already have 19.5 fixed CTC offer from Emids and Indegene is ready to pay 23 lpa including joining Bonus.
I am keen to join JP morgan but I want to negotiate the offered CTC.
During HR discussion, HR said they'll not entertain any counter offers later on

What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

Depends on why you’re not happy, what else you’re looking for, what the teams you’re heading to look like, how the job market is, what your level is etc
No Big 4 will be loyal to you. There may be individual team members that are loyal but the firm as a whole never will be. That is something you have to accept if you want to be at one.
I’m not sure how it is at PWC but at deloitte you would be pretty close to finding out if you made SM but it isn’t anything that someone can “promise” you.
It is hard to jump once you’ve already made SM because there will be certain business expectations of you. Two years ago everyone was offering giant salary increases because the market was very hot- it has definitely cooled down. Also remember that if salary is your motivator- wherever you jump to is essentially fronting the next years raise. Make sure you would be comfortable making that same amount for two years AND starting over.
I’m assuming by the mention of “your country” you are located in India. Any time you ask a question on here related to your career make sure you highlight where you are located because the career progressions are VERY different in India vs the US.
Most US firms that operate in India have time cutoffs that prevent boomerangs within a certain amount of time.
The advice I give my teams in India is that it is all a balance. If someone is offering them a 60% raise I’m not going to be able to get D to compete with that. But how is the team that they are working on. Are the supportive? Is it a good environment? Would they rather have more money but be miserable - sometimes the answer is yes.
