Hi Sharks,
Anyone faced below issue?

Hi
How to encash our leaves ... I have 20 leaves
Hi Guys,
I had referred my friend in CTS, who joined in Feb 2022 & will complete 3 months (active payroll) on 15-May-2022. I received a mail confirming my referral acceptance.
Meanwhile, I have handed in my papers & am serving my notice period with my LWD being 23-May-2022. In this case, will I receive the referral bonus?

Depends on your goals. If you want to focus on family/pursue interests outside of work and have a more predictable routine, then yes. In the flipside, if you want aggressive career growth and work with new/diff. people and industries, go for consulting.
Thanks! I had the same career outlook when I moved to consulting 5 years back but for the last 3 years I’ve been getting the same kind of projects in the same cloud although yes, getting an opportunity to work with clients in different industries.
I feel like in my in-house role before moving to consulting I had more time to explore new products and solutions, pitch a case before management to implement those like Salesforce Connect, Einstein for Sales Cloud, Salesforce Inbox, FSL etc. Not sure if that’s just been my experience and that’s not the case in general. Appreciate your suggestion though 👍
When you put it like that, I don't really see the downsides to doing so. You're making the same money with less responsibility, why not?

I agree with the above poster. If it aligns with your goals, then go for it. You have to do what will make you happy.
In a company there are a few exciting years revamping the systems followed by a transition to maintenance and lights on.
Can I ask what drawbacks you have about switching roles? It seems like a win-win situation for me.
Mostly that I wont be getting a raise with this switch and salary stays the same as it was one year back and that I’m only assuming at this time that it’ll be a low pressure, better WLB situation while it may not unfortunately turn out that way. And as the first commenter said, career growth can be slow paced in an in-house role. That’s pretty much it
Did you move from industry where you were an in-house architect / admin to a consulting company? I’m currently in consulting and thinking about a similar move to internal role
