Is Oliver Wyman planning to raise base pay like the competitors are? If so, are they going to match the competitors? They were already behind at the EM and Principal levels. Heard BCG is raising their base today. Heard similar things about Parthenon. And Oliver Wyman was already behind.

So in a rumor thread about BCG, an EYP person said that T1/T2 will eventually have to match, and from that you get “heard similar things about Parthenon”?

Well so what’s the conclusion? EYP getting more bonus pool or not ? I’m joining soon and declined a pretty solid offer from another competitor, I’d be kicking myself in the guts if these bonus increase rumors are not true.

No way OW will follow.

Turns out BCG actually did raise comp for managers and above. Base of PL is 210K now, bringing TC to about 300K for an average performer. The base is about 20% higher and TC is 30% higher than those of OW. Is this being discussed in OW?

Didn't PwC also announce something similar? Would be hard pressed if the rest of the street upped pay and they didn't...

I’m joining S& in a few weeks as an SA2. I signed the offer letter already. Will they bump up my salary if a raise gets announced before I join?

Yes

What’s the new comp for PL and up? Great news for the industry if true

Question for you all: Left D to Company A for a 50% raise in TC and slated to start in <1 week. However, just got an offer at Company B for a 100% raise in TC compared to D, or 30% raise in TC compared to company A. Both firms do similar work but B provides a more solid comp package. Job duties would be relatively similar. Is the % jump worth burning the bridge? Would have chosen Company B if the offer came sooner but the % difference in A to B is at my [personal] 30% threshold. TIA!
