If you have to ask, why don't you just do it? Set yourself apart from those guys. Doesn't hurt. Someday you'll have a client who requests a PMP (that does happen) and you can impress the partner by stepping up.

There are tons of clients that request it.

No, but it's pretty easy to get and have in your back pocket. I never put PMP on my email or LinkedIn cause everyone I've known who did that was trying to make up for the fact they suck at everything, but it's nice to have in case someone asks for it.

I have 1.5 years of experience as an SAP BASIS CONSULTANT and I am looking for a switch.

but I want to work in (Full Stack) Java development I have learned spring boot, angular, rest API, AWS CI/CD pipeline and I have good knowledge of core java, collections.
