A picture speaks a thousand words

Mindtree culture is detoriating day by day . No clarity on hike and appraisal even though mail have been sent regarding this since Dec 2021 . Disgusting HR head practice who joined from CTS . How come they don't abide by what they communicate and keep silence without any update for delay .
Shameful . Feeling Disappointed. Has joined this company 11 months back with hopes for longer and fruitful association but will resign soon . Pathetic company Mindtree

I've seen where partners put tougher requirements on people looking to join the group. I think the idea is they want to be sure you'll be able to contribute pretty fast. Many, if not most, of our people don't have the CISSP though.
As for study tips, I'm using Eric Conrad's CISSP study guide and it's been good. There is also a free video course on cybrary.it. Do you have any security experience? The certification may be very tough if you don't have a background in information security
Not here at least.
Nope, if you want one you can start studying but focus on security + for most contacts for federal. In reality you just need to know the basics and get on a few projects. If you know nothing every big project has a cyber security component
What's your background?
Talk to another partner there are tons, advisory only requires certifications manager and above. Sounds like the person has a project where he is lacking CISSP
What a dick partner, come to ACN! I have no certs and have no problem getting on projects (commercial)
@KPMG Cyber 1, I've been in IT Audit for a little of a year. I've been reading the ISC2 study guide and the actual text book. The information isn't difficult but I've been reading that this certification is for individual mandate with at least 5 years of experience. I develop outside of work though and I'm pretty knowledgable about the security engineering aspect of security.
Four years with a college degree. If you pass the exam prior to having the experience, you're called an ISC2 associate and have six years to get experience. Sounds like you have the background and drive to pass. We have a good group so I wouldn't let the roadblock deter you. If the partner says you're in with the cert I'd get it and kick ass. It'll make you very valuable in and out of KPMG.
Def not here. The only time I've ever seen certs be required is to get on govt contracts.
CPA required to work in tax?
I asked because the partner in cyber said that he would want me to get the certification before looking at moving me into the practice.
KPMG Cyber 1 - what are you working on in Cyber?
Latest focus is identity access and privileged access management. I'm working on a software implementation right now.
