I switched to tech consulting at SM level early this year for the money but also to see new industries & learn something new. Had to quit the small firm I joined after only 5 months due to chaotic and overbearing leadership. Now I have an offer from Avanade and one from a big media agency on the table.

Should I go back or stay in consulting?

I get calls for python but they demand scraping & webdev(selenium/bs/django/flask) which I have no interest in.

Why are they forcing everyone to work from office now? It was so good till now working from home

I recently sign a lease. The apartment will put my security deposit into an interest-bearing account and requires me to fill out a form W9. I will join EY this June and just wondering if this is ok in terms of the independence rule. I guess the apartment will put my deposit in some sort of funds. Anyone with EY has experience? Looking for experiences/opinions on A/C options for old houses. E.g., high velocity ducts vs ductless mini splits. Seems like mini splits are way easier and possibly more effective...but seems like an eye sore. Or... is it just what a contractor thinks will work given your house? Curious what everyone thinks!

I have significant equity in a property (300k+) and maybe another 200k across other properties. I have a decent amount of money in cash and already 200k or so in stocks. Would you consider pulling money through cash out refi and using it? I get nervous for stocks being so high. I have a few properties in pipeline already. How would you suggest using it (if at all).

How big is to big for an initial investment property. Theres a 20 SFH portfolio for sale by me for about a mil. Is this to big to start with initially? I'm less worried about the Financials (feel comfortable on that end) and more worried about the managerial aspect.

We are renovating a condo and the previous owner had two Crane toilets (not sure how old, but functioning although seals are old according to our contractor). Back outlet flour mount ones are the only options for the building, and one toilet can cost $300-$500.

We are redoing all the bathroom tiles and walls and debating what we should do with the two toilets. Would resealing the toilets extend the use life? Or should we just replace the toilets? Any other recommendations? TIA!!

Got news that my house closing may have to be moved due to a delay in the sale of my home. Is she right? From my research vinyl has its pros too... as long as we aren’t paying like they are wood marvins. Any reactions?
