It’s already happening. Most of the solutions from gurus on LinkedIn who were advocates,veterans or bartender in their previous lives does not work for large enterprise applications. Their entire knowledge is based on what they learnt on trailhead

I find it interesting how most of the veterans just talk about how to get into Salesforce instead of what they have actually done, what they like about the platform, etc. Programs like talent stacker basically just say you can make 80k/year with no experience but don't focus on what you actually do.
Maybe I just haven't seen enough of the material?
This is a problem that every ecosystem faces once it gets big enough.
This was one of my biggest fears when I was learning SF while in university. I felt people overvalued the “I got to Ranger and I’m in tech now” especially amongst the LinkedIn cringe type preachers. One of my biggest criticisms to how SF is marketed is that there is never any messaging about “getting out of SF” or emphasizing the transferrable tech/hard skills.
LinkedIn cringe preachers. I like it, I’m gonna start calling them that too.
