Is there any risk of the Salesforce talent ecosystem becoming a market of lemons with how many people are moving into it but have no exposure to technology outside of trailhead?

I was looking at the talent sticker program that seems to be like one of those web developer diploma mills when I had the thought.

Not complaining i just thought it might be an interesting challenge.
