McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

Slow downturn of the economy? What market/planet do you live in?
Come to EY risk - I literally cannot find people to work jobs we have sold (and our resource teams have known about since November.)
EY1 there are economical indicators that signal future bear markets. Some people are better at finding it than others I.e Michael burry. I’m trying to pinpoint what is causing the lack of utilization and if it’s wide spread or isolated to nyc where I live
Most people seem to think the opposite on the economy so I’m not sure what you’re talking about. And small businesses closing wouldn’t really detract from the big 4 client base, nor have I seen a lack of utilization in NYC

What market in EY risk is short on workers?
The entire Central Region is short staff 2 through Managers.
Did they lay off a bunch of people? I know Central region hired a lot of new seniors recently. They need to get trained since I think most came from industry
