Is zofran safe for first trimester nausea? I’m basically bed ridden, puking, can’t function normal and I have a 3 year old and I’m the sole earner in our family. I’m struggling. Been on bonjedtra but that’s not helping too much. I’ve heard about cleft lip and zofran so I’m nervous to go to the next step but I also can’t function as a normal human being atm.

It was recommended to be by my ob in the first trimester, but always verify with yours to be safe!

Same. It really helped me so much

I was given zofran in the ER after being diagnosed with HG.

I greatly preferred Diclegis though, it was the only anti nausea that completely worked without any side effects for me

Have you tried diclegis? Worked well for me.

I’m on Bonjestra which I think is the same thing (just the branded version)

My OB recommended zofran after 12 weeks. She said evidence was weak but still chose to be cautious before 12 weeks. I took diclegis before that. Sorry you are going through this. Hardest thing we experience. Wishing you feel better soon.

I was given Zofran in my first trimester (also had HG). I only took it when absolutely necessary to survive something like a big client meeting. I was also worried about the possible heart defects in the baby. My Ivf doc advised against it but my regular OB said it was totally safe. It's garbage we can't get consistent care. Anyway, im almost in the 3rd trimester now and do go to high risk care - Baby's heart looks healthy. Zero signs of cleft lip. It's a personal call to make knowing there are aome risks. But we also have to survive and be present for work/home. Best of luck, Mama!

Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

Does anyone have any tips on certain job positions or companies where an LLM would prove to be useful with my background?
