JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

I've seen things like that happen. But in my current position it's not volume that wins, it tends to be the person who can sling around the most buzzwords. People can be loud and that's impressive. But can they circle back and double down and leverage potentialities and make it scale? That's the stuff that wins. Rather, that's the stuff that effectuates so much win.

Yeah definitely. We have a few very big personalities on our team that really overpower other people. Sometimes I'm not sure how to navigate it as a manager because I don't want to force shier people to talk, but I also don't want the extroverts to have too much power. It's a hard thing to balance when you've got such a range of personalities

Someone who is the most persistent always wins.
Yep that is definitely true here. Management get into screaming matches in our weekly meetings and it honestly drives me nuts. There is absolutely no reason to be yelling like that and especially before I have had my coffee in the morning.
