There's always some worry when I watch the news, there's no escaping that. It often feels like things could slip out of control and we'll wind up in either a war or an economic calamity. And while that worries me, I'm also aware there's not a lot I can do about it. When it comes to things like investing all you can do is stick to your plan. I honestly believe that if you worry too much about what's going on in the macro world you'll sit out a lot of opportunity.

It's the same old same old. The difference is the amount of information or news we can see. The quicker info gets to you the more info you see and the more "bad" you see because bad is what we key in on instinctively to keep ourselves safe. I don't do anything different but maybe not pay attention from time to time for a few days to reboot. Cities are safer now than they were 50 years ago but everyone thinks they aren't because the news wasn't as available and people were naive and unknowing. 1920s most mass shootings. 1970s most serial killers and abductions etc.
