It’s a weird feeling, not far removed from school, when you start making enough income to live very comfortably but you still want to chase higher aspirations for reasons unrelated to financial stability. I can’t put my finger on what the reason is, I just feel like I need to constantly be climbing. Is this healthy?

Im looking to buy a home, program is zero down (no PMI). I make 150k base salary; take home 8k mon. Im looking to buy a house under 350k in my area. Im looking at a payment of about 3k including prop. taxes in a newly gentrifying area. My plan is to house-hack and in a year move out. Is this monthly payment too high? I have under 10k student loans (will get wiped) and no other payments. I want to make sure I can afford it even without tenants just in case.
