I found I was getting the most interviews via referrals, do you have contacts/former colleagues at the agencies you are applying to?
How many jobs did you apply to? If 60, that isn't enough. I literally applied to 300+ jobs over 5 months and had about 30 interviews. It's a numbers game 😪
You get rejection letters??! Nice
I got laid off in September and landed a contract role in March, which turned into full time. This is what I found helpful. Network as much as possible even outside of your comfort zone, PM skills are transferable. Keep your resume 1 page, add only experience that pertains to the job description. Use AI to tailor your resume, ask it what are my gaps to find weak points on your resume. On your downtime do some upskilling. It will keep your head sharp and can add it to your resume. It’s tough out there keeping going and be kind to yourself.
Only include your last ten years of work history. Ageism is real in advertising and starts young 😔
im surprised people are still getting rejection responses 🫠 i dont get any response at all

Keep reaching out to someone at the company when you see an opening. Referrals for every application: required.
Look at the inflation charts. Interest rates too. Times perfectly with all the job loss and job market fallout. That’s what’s happening.
