Several DEI executives at major companies were fired shortly after the SCOTUS decision. Do you think this was merely a coincidence?
Most people at that level have term clauses that require months of lead up, so it was likely an unfortunate coincidence.
I hate that we even have to think about how we as individuals have to represent an entire group of millions of people. That puts so much pressure on everyone
My son is borderline autistic and the way he learns is very different from the "norm." I'm worried that affirmative action policies, or lack thereof, will hinder his ability to get into law school after he graduates college next year.

I don't have to do anything extra. I will just do the things that I have to do and choose the right things to do.
Going beyond academia is really important. I am thinking of trying to alter some of our existing roles to help be able to hire further individuals!
I think there are certain risks to the specific language we can use, but the practice won't go away entirely. I'm worried about EEO/Affirmative Action planning being a federal contractor requirement going away.
