I’ve always wondered who actually writes Wikipedia pages about people. Does some random person just take it into their hands to create a page for a personality? What about the folks who aren’t really famous, like some obscure political activist, writer, actor, or academic? Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Any good startups to consider? Anyone have any insight or advice?

I recently accepted a job that I quite overqualified for because I’m in need of a job. I got hired as a Marketing Manager and work directly with the Marketing Director. Come to find out my director is still in school and has absolutely no marketing experience. She’s been with the company for 4 months. They seem to want to utilize my complete skills set and make up for her lack of marketing knowledge but maintain her position as director and pay me a entry level marketing manager salary. Advice?
