I’ve been a financial accountant for 10 years, several corporations, have been offered a role as senior master data finance analyst within a listed multinational with many new acquisitions and integrations. The role involves master data management, process improvements, documentation, participation in data migrations and incident management. Anyone that has taken a similar path, what are your impressions and the value added to your experience?

What can you do if you’re getting interviewed by the same person who didn’t choose you in the first place?
Context: I applied for a position a while back and got interviewed, but didn’t go to the next round. I found the same position open again a month later at a different location and applied. Almost immediately, I was called for an interview, but with the same interviewer. What does this mean? Is this going to get awkward?

Hi guys I am posting this again I have offer of almost same package from Accenture and IBM . Accenture offering is very slight more but that's not my key consideration. Which company is better in terms of job security, work life balance. That's the top most factor I am considering. Learning and project and latest niche technology is the other important factor after first 2 factors .

I spoke with a recruiter recently about a position in her company and before we even began talking about the job, she asked if I needed an sponsorship, I told her no, I dont need one. But she continued to press on the subject until I had to tell her I was a US citizen. I dont know why, but the whole conversation made me extremely uncomfortable. So my question is, can recruiters ask you about your visa/immigration status even when I told her I didnt need a sponsorship??

HR is not considering moving above 40% hike no matter whatever I say to justify, the Discussion was like talking to a wall . Any suggestions to get another 10-15% more (first offer)? Will HR reject me stating this reason in HCL ?? FYI- Client and the project team wants to take him in as per their feedback to me and I feel i am the right person for the role too .. 9 years exp -Infra storage domain .

Industry accountant with 5 YoE, can move into senior position with $100k base, or lateral move into big 4 as associate in assurance AWM.

Interested in capital markets, PE, investment...Senior role is unreleated to these industries while PA role could potentially open doors? Just would hate not getting that salary bump after I can finally start seeing some real money after 5 years.....
