I’ve been a manager for a year now and got an interview for Senior Accounting Analyst at one my great clients in Life Sciences. At the same time I’m interviewing for Internal audit manager in the Insurance sector. Which opportunity looks better folks? Both £billion revenue companies.

To me titles dont matter. Just pay me my money and if you can lock me in with a good WLB that’s a major +. I say that to say this, it depends what you’re looking for. From a prestige POV senior analyst role is a downgrade in title.

like

I would keep looking. Both of those sound terrible.

like

Because one is a clear demotion and one is IA (in insurance too). A B4 manager can do better.

Manager at EY to senior analyst sounds like a downgrade.

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you

I’m interviewing with a startup and the range has a 40k difference from the lowest to highest point. It’s also pre-seed and comes with equity, and health, 401k benefits. It’s a director of sales role so I would eventually be recruiting and managing a team along with building the processes and strategy. What would you consider a fair compensation package? If they offer me something on the lower end of the range, is it still appropriate to counter with an offer that is over their stated range?

[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture

I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am

I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)

Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Do you have advice on how to interview better with Amazon?

My résumé and portfolio are great, and I’ve been asked to interview with Amazon for 4 different teams now. However, it seems like I’m not making it past the first 1:1 interview. 3 out of 4 have resulted in not the right fit for reasons unknown; they don’t provide any feedback either. I have been invited for a new interview today with another team, and I am hoping 4th time is the charm. Any tips on how to do better next time?
