Hey folks
I got a call from TCS to interview for a new unit formed within org with the name of Business Transformation Group as per new org restructuring. Anyone from TCS who can help to understand more about this?
Does it cater to only niche technologies or how does this actually function?

Asking what you need to do or what you have to improve upon to become the next level of a creative is never a turn off to a CD.
On the contrary, it makes me realize that you are self-aware and looking to learn, which are two incredibly valuable characteristics in a team member.
I’d look for a senior title or wait until you’re ready for one. Especially if you’re staying in the same market it’s much easier to jump to a title bump than get promoted within the same shop especially after just a year or so. Fake it til you make it.
I've actually made it pretty far into the process for a couple of senior roles, but both ended up going to people with more experience. If I thought I'd get that experience at my agency, I'd wait.
But I'm also pretty damn miserable and know I've stopped growing, so I'm willing to forgo the title bump for another year or so. It would probably take that long for my current agency to promote me anyway. They're notoriously slow with internal promotions.
Hey losing out on sr jobs to people with more experience doesn’t mean you aren’t ready for the title (I assume you were junior for a while before mid? The difference from mid to sr is pretty negligible anyway, it just means you can work faster and more independently). The job market is extra competitive rn, more people willing to take a lower title just to have something. This is why agencies with the “get someone else to hire you for the salary / title you deserve from us” attitude are such trash.
You should absolutely be asking that
