Have you tried looking into side hustles to supplement or extend your runway?
SFA is correct. While side work like DoorDash or Uber won’t replace your previous income or pay all of your bills that’s not the point. The point is to survive while you keep applying and finally land the job.
The job market is tough. Keep on trying. Don’t give up. Look for contract roles as well if you haven’t.
This is such a rude reply to someone who means well. Maybe breathe in, breathe out. Contract jobs don’t have to mean freelancing for people around you, if that’s what you think it means. They are jobs just like a regular job, just not a permanent position but a time-bound period.
Check your ego and read the room / job market. Set your expectations appropriately.
If you did all that, keep applying.
Take 2 weeks break, Keep learning new tech skills, update CV, start applying again, repeat.
