What’s the culture like at FTI Consulting?
Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

That seems a little toxic. The communication style is juvenile. Upper management seems disjointed as well. I would look for other jobs as a safety net. I know there's no guarantee. But you're fresh and flexible to the role, which makes their behavior unprofessional and strange.
I agree, it seems super toxic. You haven't even been there long enough to even know what you are doing. So sorry this has been your experience.
Honestly, I think it's time to start looking elsewhere. Even if you manage to jump through all the hoops they're setting up for you, I doubt it'll get any better. It sounds like a toxic environment. Sorry you're going through this!
Have you expressed this to your supervisor? They should be able to understand where you're coming from, especially since they didn't have any complaints for your performance.
You've barely been there for 2 months, its very unreasonable to have an expectation for you to know everything. And to remove you from the Slack channel? Very immature in my opinion. I hope everything works out for you!
Strat to 5 months confusion, learning, finding your rhythm, understanding business connections and dealing with imposter syndrome. 6 months to start to get a vibe and some comfort. 9 months to hit a grove and feeling confident. That’s what I’ve seen as a common timeline when starting. What’s your profession? Find a new company that isn’t so blah.
