I’ve been at the same firm for 7 years and my salary has only increased by 2-3% annually for inflation. Meanwhile, I know for a fact that the people we are hiring from the outside are coming in at 20% higher than my current rate. It’s the classic loyalty tax where the company assumes you’ll never leave, so they don’t bother keeping your pay competitive. I love my team, but I can’t ignore the fact that I’m leaving tens of thousands of dollars on the table every year. Does anyone actually get a market adjustment raise without having a competing offer in hand?

Some employees received a retention bonus/contract recently. Makes me feel they aren't going to do anything else to keep up with the market inflation, or attempt to retain the rest of the employees. Good time to exit or pray they do a market correction with the year end hikes?

What are typical positions an experienced associate with 2 years exit into?

I’ve been in inside/outside roles 7+ yrs in Real Estate & have led sales/development on large residential developments for luxury new construction & assist buyers, sellers, investors. Now both my kids are in school FT I don’t need flex hours & prefer not to work weekends. I’d like to be in AE role where I can build a career I’m proud of with more stability. But it seems like the only path to be an AE is through the SDR route. Any ideas on companies open to non SaaS work history in Chicagoland?

GCA Questions Help

Hi everyone!
I've had 2 rounds of interviews at Google (UK) for a non-tech role in Platforms & Ecosystems (L4/L5). Recruiter told me that I've been selected for the final rounds (GCA + Leadership Interview). From his feedback, one thing they wanted me to improve on was the GCA Questions. Would anyone have any tips on how to prepare for these? I've checked some of Jeff Sipe videos online but would appreciate any support! I find GCA quite stressful...

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

Does anybody know what the typical salary range is and total comp for someone starting out as an internal or external wholesaler? If you are one of these, can you share about your experience in terms of whether you liked it or not, work life balance, travel, etc?
