Dear Fishes, I am in a conundrum currently. I have two offers. One from Deloitte USI (17.5 LPA fixed, 1.75 LPA variable and 1.5 L joining bonus). The other is from Infosys (25 LPA CTC. Permanent WFH. Negotiation is still on for this.)
Could you please be so kind as to help me decide which one to choose?
Thanks in advance,
Fellow Perplexed Fish.

I had the same issue, especially for coding. I found 50/10 works well for me.

I prefer the hyper-focus to burnout loop myself.

Yes. Yes, you are. 😅 Especially if you've never actually tried it.
I've successfully used standard 25/5 Pomodoro for decades. Just find the time box that works for you.

Can you explain more what you mean by "not in earnest?"
I found the type of work task that works with Pomodoro matters, too. Tedious or routine work? Perfect. Creative work? I need longer time blocks and will dismiss the alarm if I am in the zone.

I found this article interesting. Here's a quote from it:

Personally, the Pomodoro method has never worked for me. You’re welcome to try it but if it doesn’t work, that’s okay.
