Any SE's here currently at Snowflake? I'm about to start an interview process with them (already had a phone screen with the hiring manager). I'd love to get some insight into the day to day of SEs there, especially on the enterprise team. I'm a former Oracle SE with experience in data management and analytics and I'm currently at a small SaaS company helping build out the pre-sales function as the second hire (because the first got whisked away to product management after 8 months haha).

I'm an associate who wants to make Partner one day but whenever I talk about "career advancement" with my Partner I get the "don't rush it, it's all merit based"

I'm aware of the business goals of my organization and the different ways one should contribute to said goals. That being said, should I keep looking for the conversation to express my desire to, one day, be considered for Partnership? Should I keep grinding and save it for when I make Consultant?

How do you get better at contract negotiations? (I’m a 4th yr. in commercial real estate) I feel like I’m generally good at pulling together an initial draft of an agreement (ex PSAs)...but I struggle when comments come back. Specifically, I struggle with reading newly proposed language & deciding what stays, what goes, & what needs to be tweaked. Are there books I can read (or CLEs I can watch) to get better at this?

I have an offer (DC) for 210 base/15% bonus/185 equity over four years, and I’m wondering what others have received, how much I can negotiate, etc. I understand base and bonus may not be negotiable, but I’ve heard that technical folks have negotiated equity packages 3-4x the amount I was offered - so is there a lot of room there?
