I’ve been offered a job with about 40% of the comp being a “target bonus” (ad/tech company). What is a target bonus and are the targets even attainable?

Target bonus means it’s based on your performance / year end rating. I.e., if you meet performance expectations you’ll get target, if you outperform you could get more. Depends on company if it’s consistently attainable. Some companies may have other variables factor into the target bonus calculation like total company performance or your BU’s performance etc

Hey Guys, I got an offer from IBM and wanted to understand how the PF deduction works. So the compensation breakup is like Fixed pay(basic+FBP) + Gratuity(4.8% of basic) + PF(12% of basic) Is the PF mentioned in the offer breakup, employers PF or employee PF? If its the employers PF, will the same amount(12% of basic) will again be deducted from my fixed as employee PF contribution?

What should I expect for McK EM offer? The recruiter told me today $192k base, $50k bonus and $24k signing. I was also told an associate signing is $30k but the smaller amount is due to a higher bonus than associates. Am I missing something or are they lowballing me? Do the exit opps get better after you hit 2 YOE? Every recruiter that contacts me gives me an insultingly low offer (below or at my current comp, which isn’t good to begin with). Any ways to increase the comp of my offers, or do I just have to wait? (And btw, these low offers are after negotiating)

Can’t help but feel invisible in my current situation- I’ve been pursuing a transfer for over a year (within my same group) and even though I’ve repeatedly asked for help and pulled in directors and partners —I keep getting pawned off to different people.
