I have also recently cleared all interview rounds in TCS & HR Shared 'Salary Breakup'. Still, my status in the iBegin portal is not changing from 'Evaluation in Progress' to 'Evaluated' & so on, even after uploading all required documents. They had initiated the process 2 times, 1st on 16th Nov and 2nd on 24th. Please let me know, how long it will take to release the final offer letter. Thanks

You’re evaluated during your interview(s) for level. You’re placed a level for a variety of reasons, from experience, to behavioral, to leadership. It’s not just your resume.
You might be on the high end of L5 and could get promoted quickly if you show impact but there’s no way to tell.
It’s nearly impossible to negotiate level as you have to go back through HC, or the role just might not be scoped for a higher level.
Some L5s are but people managers usually start at L6. You’d have to ask your recruiter that question.
G1 - I am waiting to hear back from HC on my offer. I have 10yoe. My hiring manager is a L5. Does that mean I'll probably be offered a L4?
I think L4 stands then. And I should have added earlier, I considered that the hiring managers level contributes to L4.
When I came in I was at L4 with 8 yoe, but no MBA.
I am at the lower end of L4. Colleagues at L5 came in varying between 12-15 YOE. It’s really not just about YOE so it’s hard to say this with confidence, not knowing you.
You definitely won’t get $175 base for L4, and I hesitate to say no for L5 because it depends on the role.
Total comp needs considered versus just base salary. Annual bonus (standard is 15%, sign on, and equity.
**this assumes Bay Area or NYC comp.
