Thoughts on burning additional client hours (I.e. over 45)? My mindset is that it is better not to piss of the M/ P who will be conducting your review than to have utilization of 120%+
Reasons I rarely come into the office. Overheard in the elevator: I'm so busy this week...I'm at like 70% utilization. Also, reasons why I hate non-advisory people.
Anyone willing to refer someone who is an experienced and accomplished operations analyst and customer service professional with over 5 years of experience? Ideally looking to pivot out of the financial services industry into a position more project oriented (such as project management) and creative oriented. Also would love to network and chat with anyone who loves their job and company (looking for great company culture and an employer that cares about their employees).

Any advice from those who have taken personal leave before?

I have two GS-14 positions open. I’m looking for someone with strong Salesforce, project management, and interpersonal skills who is passionate about helping federal student loan borrowers. This is an awesome team to be on and we have a lot of work ahead of us! DM on LinkedIn if you have any questions.
Has anyone made the move from vendor side to an existing client? A client I closed is hiring and I think I’d be a great fit. However, I know I need to navigate with care. I love the product I sell currently, but my company was acquired recently and comp plans changed. Any advice on doing this in a tactful way?
Guys, I have a stupid client. Like, really stupid. Nothing we explain (in any format) gets absorbed, her agency AND team is constantly trying to help her understand things without patronizing...
We should be feared like PCAOB inspectors but instead we kiss ass because the client pays us smh.
I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.

Hoping for candid advice to get exceptional ratings. I want to apply to GSAP in 2 years and am curious if anyone had concrete advice of getting exceptional ratings besides making sure to work hard and take on responsibility. I.e. did you talk to your manager and ask if you’d receive an exceptional rating? Do you need to talk to a partner about that? Do extra and consistent “market” initiatives for partners and SMs you do client work with help you get the exceptional for client?
Hi Fishers, I am actively looking for switch to other MNCs as my profile is stuck now and instead of giving many efforts, I am not getting promotions even though I am a top performer. Pls. refer me for any middle management positions.

Job opportunity (mgr title, 4-6 yr exp needed) in Internal Audit (w/ data analytics exposure) at one of the largest private companies in Chicago. I interviewed with them (director and vp) till last round and decided to pursue a different opportunity. Great and caring people who seems to support what you wanna do at this position. Since it’s private there is a lot of room to create and build from the best practice. lmk if you are interested or know someone needs help. Thanks!
One of my best friends is getting married on a super short timeline. Wedding is this summer. She asked 7 girls to be bridesmaids and there were 4 groomsmen. She “just realized” the numbers were off so she has now asked me and another girl I’m close with to be FLOWER GIRLS instead of bridesmaids. I love her but what the actual f**k. I get that it’s her day, but why ask us to be bridesmaids and do this. It’s honestly embarrassing.
I tried asking her some more questions and no response.
I’m interviewing a couple big four firms for an HR tech consultant ( ceridian, successfactors, etc). How much tc should I be asking for?

Superrr nervous to tell my boss about my pregnancy. She’s a director. Married, no kids. In her 40s. I’ve always gotten the vibe she doesn’t like me very much… Q2 performance discussion went well and she gave me a sizable LTI recently but there is still something off… I’ve reported to her for ~6 months. I know the rest of the leadership team (other sr/directors and VP) will be super supportive but they are also all men with young-ish kids… Any tips??
Any TMers here? I just did the 6pm EST w the group and it was the first time in weeks I was able to drop in for the full twenty minutes. The power of collective consciousness is real, baby!
Maybe some perspective might be of use to me. I’m transitioning out of the service and I’ve positioned myself decently to be competitive in the market. I’ve got two offers from great companies. Biotech and Healthcare, both on the Human Capital Team as an Employee Relations Consultant. I have a graduate degree pursuing a Doctorate, LSSBB, ScrumMaster, SPHR, and PMI-ACP certified. I know this is personal and dependent, but what should I be considering as a commensurate salary?
I got an email from Capgemini HR for interview today. But I was already interviewed in April 2021. Is it gonna make any issues? Can I give interview within 6 months?

HR/LEGAL HELP: I work for a multi-state remote employer. I am doing a classification study of sorts and believe that we may have to reclassify some positions. The impact is moving exempt and salaried positions to non-exempt. This has caused us to consider what states we are/should be hiring from. Any issues with excluding candidates from certain states that may have more stringent pay laws? Appreciate your help!
