Did anyone here get their H1-B visa extended while on parental leave? Does it typically matter if you are on extended leave or on active project when the law firm typically evaluates (if at all) the visa extension. Any experience (mainly EY folks) will be really helpful.

I’m working with a client who doesn’t have a lot of production experience. We shared the treatment of our reco director and they’re asking to see all other treatments before reviewing the reco. I’ve never had this happen. Has anyone had to share treatments with clients for all bidders? I’m worried they will choose a treatment we aren’t aligned with creatively.

Hi - looking for direction: I’m about to file my citizenship application without a lawyer (after 5yrs of permanent residency). I filled out the N-400 form myself. At the end of the form it’s asking to upload any documents/evidence. How important is it uploading documents and what exactly is preferable to upload? (ex: foreign passport pgs, univ degree, employment verification?). It didn’t specifically require to upload copies. Would my case be denied if I don’t upload anything? Thx in advance

Recently started my own firm and interested in others thoughts. Are there resources out there for practical advice or is it only something that comes with experience? For example, I can take let's say a 601A client and use the resources available to me to learn how to do it. But if a client asks me is it better to marry my fiance in her home country, bring her here on a K-1 or have her visit on a B-2, that's not learned from a book or webinar. Just venting here… At WAS for an adjustment interview based on an affirmative asylum and the officer said he’s never done and affirmative adjustment before… and questioned my client when he said that he has never been in proceedings. Officer said “I don’t agree with that, I think you *have* been in proceedings” when we submitted the affirmative asylum approval and I had to show that to him smh. Why aren’t they training these officers 😭
