Highest paying audit exit ops?
Could anyone kindly tell me about the Investment Management and Private Equity Audit Group at Deloitte? 1. Work Life Balance (Is it worst than the ordinary Big 4 WLB?) 2. Is it an entirely different audit from commercial/retail audits (think account balances etc.) 3. Difficult to learn how to audit clients in this industry without prior experience in the industry?(been doing commercial audits for 3 years) 4. Are there relatively good exit opportunities for this audit group? Deloitte PwC EY

If you’re not learning, change clients. Your life will be harder, but why grind busy season hours for not developing
I’ve asked. It got me towards more interesting, challenging, and ($) rewarding work.
But they’re not going to take you off whatever you’re staffed on ATM

All clients are different but if your providing the same services there is not that much difference. One thing I will say from my experience this process is usually not immediate unless there is a really reason to where you can’t work on the client anymore. Normally there is a transition period which normally involves you closing out the current engagement and transition off next cycle.
I did that back in 2019. I didn’t switch, I was added on a new client. My busy season was nuts buuut I learned a lot more. Just be careful what you wish for.
Grass is not, I repeat is not, always greener. Learned that the hard way.
