Use this opportunity to boast about your productivity, don't be modest or humble on one of these reviews. it feels intimidating because nobody wants to overrate themselves, but it's better to show that you are proud of your work output than to act insecure about it. Show a few areas for improvement, but overall give yourself good ratings!
Your one and only opportunity to praise yourself. Take it. Starting from immediately after your review, document every success so that you'll have evidence of how awesome you are at your next performance review. I got this advice from my current boss, and it's worked very well for me ever since.
I'd rate myself as high as possible as you have arguments for. They will never give you more than you gave yourself, but they might give you less. By rating yourself high, it puts pressure on your manager to come up with arguments to give you a lower evaluation
