Hi All, I was approached by a recruiter to interview for a manager role at Strategy& based out of Toronto. He mentioned the base pay range for a new M will be CAD 145-155k.
Can someone please share:
1: What the interview process will be like?
2: Is the base pay in line?
3: If I go through, is there a signing bonus?PwC Strategy&

Tech support can range anywhere from call center following instructions to engineers supporting infrastructure or applications. A tech support engineer can transitioned to any engineering role they want. If you are an engineer then you can do tech support. Moving from non tech call centers type of support to tech is a bigger climb.
Also, pick one. Project or product. You cannot move to product roles without product experience, so start with entry level roles. Project is easier if you had project management experience before
So you need to go a lot deeper than “tech support”. It can mean many things
There are entry level certs in Project Management that may help. I worked in IT for 22 years before I moved to project management. It is different than product management as the other poster said. It took me a while to finally land a PM role. I did tell my boss that I wanted to be a PM and they finally gave me the role and gave me the difficult and problem projects in the begining. I managed them successfully and have kept going. Once I had enough experience I achieved my PMP. Not all companies require a PMP but it has opened doors for me. Good luck!
