I’ve been through 5 exit op interviews and always end up failing the case interview. No matter how much I prep or practice, I always end up pigeonholing myself while doing a deep dive and get (1/2)

I got a job offer at Apple and I’m so conflicted. I nor my boyfriend are just thrilled to live in California, but this opportunity is incredible. He is not willing to move with me or be long distance so I’d be in a position to where this could not only impact my relationship but I could also miss out on a job opportunity of a lifetime. Any advice? I am feeling like I’m picking between my career and relationship. It sucks. For context, we’ve been together 2 years and live together.

I just graduated 1.5yrs ago, but have gratefully made my way into a Sr. Accountant position at a ~120 saas company managing books, p&ls, 606 rev recs, powerbi analytics, & all things finance for our 20MM of revenue. I feel like I’ve already reached my growth limit here and the next position up is my boss’s CFO position. I’m trying to break into big tech as a fin. analyst or rev rec specialist, but they always want someone with more experience. What should I do / any recommendations? 70k comp.

An Accenture recruiter just reached out via LinkedIn to discuss a Salesforce Functional Lead role they are trying to fill. He said the comp budget is up to 240k, which seems really high for this type of role. Wondering if anyone at Accenture has insight on if this is realistic, or if this guy might just be throwing a high number to get me to apply.

Hi Folks, Just want to share the worst hiring experience i faced while interviewing for Test Lead position for infosys. I cleared all the rounds, post that shared the documents for BGC. Before the process initiation i pre informed them about my cctc, ectc and offer amount inhand. Inspite of all that after waiting for 15days i got a cl from h.r team, they literally got nerve to offer me the amount which is 1.5L less than my cctc. Extreme wastage of bandwidth of the interviewee, Beware

Advice needed! I am currently in a toxic work environment making $60k (commission structure is okay, no 401k match, in office 4 days/week and 10 days PTO), I am in the final rounds for a role at an awesome company with great culture and upward mobility, but the pay is $55k (equity, uncapped commission, remote, and unlimited PTO). I think I would love the role, and I’m sure the total comp with equity and commission would be very similar to my current role, but I am still hung up the lower salary

Brand side creatives who've been in a role for several years..how do you stay sane? I thought when I accepted this role, that a few years in I could explore or move into other departments since it's a large company. But seems like the very few openings are always meant for someone they already had in mind. I've offered to help other teams out and that was also nixed (they don't want mix budgets or something idk). None of it makes sense. My talent is underutilized and I'm frustrated daily. Help😭

25 y/o female, only 3.5 years into consulting and can’t see myself doing this forever, rising the ranks and making partner. I feel like a failure/loser for wanting to stoop beneath my potential and exit the rat race at such a young age. Already looking to pivot, but no idea where to go. I’m in change/transformation/strategy so no technical skills. I enjoy helping people be their best (coaching / program management / talent optimization type work). Sad that my only skills are soft skills. Ideas?
