Direct phone or in-person followups are no longer effective and can often hurt your chances, I'd advise you to try Targeted Networking by finding internal employees on LinkedIn and ask for a 15 minute informational interview. A cruise ship industry is also currently in need of 6 wfh Accounting Clerks, it's about keeping records of all daily sales remotely. They pay up to $39/hour. anyone Interested?
If this is still available I am very interested.
Also curious. Just got laid off this morning and haven't applied to anything in years 😭

It aint what ya know its who ya know bro…
It is interesting how a lot of job posts these days say "no phone calls" or "no follow-up"... like seriously, how are we supposed to stand out?
Shit I’ve applied for at least 100 jobs and nothing worthy found yet with a great resume

30 plus jobs in a month isn’t enough. Applying to 30 a day or in a week would be better.
Unfortunately applying for 30 postings isn't near enough in a month in today's time. Closer to 300 applications in a month unless you have speciality skills is more inline with how applications work now.
Yes, I’ve had success calling employers and asking them for jobs. Usually the receptionist is the best person to network with as they know everything about a company. I usually look for employers on Google Maps and dial them up or email for jobs. I’ve got 2 interviews every month using this method. The downside though is you might not find good companies sometimes.
I am looking for remote job work from home , no micromanaging, pays base salary with unlimited commissions and benefits!!!
I've been laid off since April. It's tough out here, wishing you the best.
Glassdoor and indeed is one in the same now and its over-saturated. Try Simply hired. And follow up with an email to the hiring manager who did your interview
