I'm looking to join a gym but I would love to find one where I don't have to deal with overly cheery staff. I'm really wanting a gym that I can access with a keycard at any time and not have to deal with anyone and if I could sign up online without having to take a tour and hear the sales pitch, that would be amazing. Does a place like this exist?

Curious what anyone thinks about cologne? Is it a turn on? I am not really into it.. but I just got a whiff of this dude at the gym and the cologne did something to me 🥰 It was really subtle. I am at Big4 UK (London). Recently, I started to suspect myself to have Asperger’s. I haven’t seen a doctor yet and I haven’t been officially diagnosed. I was always understanding that something is not “normal” with me but I didn’t know about Asperger’s. Let’s assume I go to a doctor and officially been diagnosed. What are the pros/cons to disclose it to my employer? Can they fire me because of this? I am on visa in this country. That’s why don’t want to risk it at all. Thanks for help!

Looking for some mental health advice - I’ve been dealing with pretty debilitating anxiety/panic attacks for over 5 years. Finally started to get some help for it through medication, however the first 3 meds my PCP prescribed me (ssris) didn’t work. Because I haven’t deal with the anxiety it’s gotten really bad. Do I go to a pyscitatrist whose trained more in pharma or start with therapist. Have done therapy in past without much help.

What are your policies regarding consuming alcohol at company events? Do you have a process when someone is too drunk - call a Lyft/Uber? Confiscate keys? Are there any repercussions to the employee as the event is technically after hours even if company sponsored?

Can I just vent on how annoyed I am with the increase in “priority boarding” of people that are able bodied? I am happy to let them on first. But I think they should get off last. So many times they are limping or in a wheelchair boarding. And then when we land that are the first to jump up and scurry off. Just not ethical.

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.
