I ramped up my outreach based on advice they gave me about persistence in industry. But I was recently told there’s nothing available for me right now, at what point should I take the hint that I might not be what they’re looking for? What signs should I be looking for that it’s time to move on?

Has anyone ever worked at an agency in which the project management department was properly utilized? I traditionally was brought up in my career where PM type tasks were handled by lower level AMs. I have observed separating AM and PM tasks into two separate departments just causes communication issues and lazy account people. Account people should have a good understanding of how much effort and time goes into a project. Project Managers are missing a lot of context so blind leading blind.
