I’ve had my heart set on an agency for a long time. I’ve been loosely in touch with someone in a senior creative role there for about a year, sporadic check-ins mostly. I ramped up my outreach based on advice they gave me about persistence in industry. But I was recently told there’s nothing available for me right now, at what point should I take the hint that I might not be what they’re looking for? What signs should I be looking for that it’s time to move on?

Hi, I was curious if anyone had any jobs or companies that had a position with a mix of consulting/healthcare/pharmaceutical. I currently work in clinical operations and research, and would love to jump or learn into a tech side company with pharmaceutical exposure. Not sure if these are out there but figured I’d see!

Currently a big 4 consultant and got an offer from FAANG for a strategy and ops role that would bring my total comp up 60%. I’m really grateful for the offer and really excited, however, I am also interviewing with MBB. It has always been a goal of mine to work for tier 1 strategy firm as I’ve always felt on the outside looking in at big4. I feel like most exit ops from strategy would be S&O industry roles but still can’t get these MBB firms out of my mind. Am I just overthinking this?

I have about 8 years of accounting experience and have been at Morgan Stanley for the past 5 years. I currently do AML Enhanced Due Diligence work on their GFC Advisory team. I love the what I do, I just want to get some experience at another company.
I also care deeply about D&I and am leader on the Black Employee Network Steering Committee at Morgan. Is anybody hiring either AML or Internal Audit Profesionals?

I have a phone screen interview with AWS for the position of Systems Engineer with the Linux team early next week. I’ve been a Sys Admin for the last 4 years, and I’m not very well-versed with coding. The phone screen does have whiteboard coding, any tips on what I could do to prepare for this? I’m not sure if I can let the interviewer know I’m not too strong with coding. I do want to take up the challenge, and also find out if the role would require extensive coding though. Any tips?
