Anyone at Google open to networking? My new role (haven’t started yet) is senior and I want to start building my network in advance so I don’t feel so lost and alone at such a big company when I join!! I love getting to know people! If you’re open to getting to know a Noogler and be part of my network/support system, I’d really love to chat and learn about you/what you do/where your group fits into the big picture. Google DM me :) 🙏🏻

I think the question of if it is really worth it is tied to the debt but also if the part of law that you are passionate about is actually an attainable and practical goal. A lot of people think law school and being an attorney is one thing, without realizing the monster of the judicial system and that it is really about being the best litigator, not about what is fair or just and that it is really hard to make positive changes in the world.
It’s not worth the debt
You're going to have to go into student debt for pretty much any high paying job so yes if you're passionate about law, you're going to be a great lawyer and the student debt won't matter.
My personal opinion is if you are really passionate about it, the money will follow in any case. The debt is only bad if you will not be willing to do the work to pay it off later. You can still make excellent money as an attorney, no doubt. I enjoyed law school and still enjoy legal work so it was the right call for me because I am putting my education to use.
I have to agree. Many are not fortunate enough to end up doing something they really love. If you've found that in law that's awesome.
I feel like it depends a lot on the type of law you would like to practice. Becoming a lawyer is a taxing task even outside of student debt. Law school is not easy, neither is the LSAT or the bar. It takes a lot of determination so anyone who wants to be a lawyer must be passionate about it.
If it is something you are really passionate about, go for it. I ony hear people talk about the debt when they werent' sure they really wanted to be an attorney. If you feel strongly about going to law school, then do it.
Stick it out! It's all gonna pay off in the end one way or another. If you're truly passionate about it, the debt should be the least of your worries.
I'd rather do something I am passionate about. You can pay the debt off afterward as an attorney. Go for it, OP.
