Definitely ERW if you can (not sure with delta). Can take the NJ transit directly to penn station. LGA has been an absolute nightmare
LGA. Easier access to airport than the either two
Not with the LGA taxi / Uber situation at the moment. Depending on the time you get in, I would consider EWR
Typically LGA, but it’s untenable with the construction , especially ground transportation.
Go with Newark.
EWR... NJ Transit trains terminate at NY Penn and MSG is built above it.
Also Marriott hotel recommendations in MSG area would be nice!
Edition is great if you can swing it (~15 mins away)
Coming from where on which airline?
(Definitely not EWR, though.)
Delta -ATL, best option is EWR
Amtrak
I was there a couple of weeks ago and can say that EWR was the best.
EWR - train takes you directly from airport to MSG
I live right by MSG - it really depends on what time you’re planning your flights for, since rush hour is a big factor for moving crosstown/through the tunnels. LGA is usually my go-to.
This is why I always do NJTransit to/from EWR rather than an Uber.
EWR
Ewr
LGA is the most logical choice - shorter distance. If you have time to kill (as it would be a longer commute) and have some strange desire to take NJ Transit (ie. train) then EWR as there is a train that you can transfer to from the airport tram and take you straight to MSG.
