45% salary increase is significant
Personallllyyyyyy, I’d take the 45% bump and if after a year you’re still nervous about not being client facing just go back to another B4 and say you missed the client facing work. But then you’d have that 45% higher salary and McK on the resume to get a better offer back at Big4. I think I’d always wonder “what if” if I didn’t take the McK offer
Prestige doesn’t pay the bills
It could hurt you if you want to eventually exit to FAANG for example because they are looking for big data and cloud skills that you would've picked up in the big 4. Starting total comp at FAANG for those roles is typically $270k. So think big picture.
This was my thought too

McKinsey on your resume will always help you later.
How many years of experience do you have ?

Your going from kpmg to McKinsey while also ~1.5x your salary, and probably better work life balance without the demand of a-hole clients…Not sure why you have any hesitation whatsoever.
If this was baseball you’re going from single A to the majors. You were playing multiple positions and now you’ll just have to play DH and make way more money get more clout/recognition
(To clarify, b4 and accenture wouldn be double A. Kearny, LEK, Oliver wyman, Strategy&, EYP are triple A. Mbb is the majors.)

I’d go for it. May not be as prestigious as the client facing roles but having B4 and then progression to MBB with much more comp is a no brainer to me. Looks good on the resume still.
Edit: actually probably wouldn’t put KPMG on the resume for <6mo but still great offer
