Just accepted an offer from AWS but something in me is making me hesitant. Might be the bad rep on culture and WLB or that the base is same. I feel like I could switch groups here at Accenture and get the same type of work. I already like it here too. And given my history of job hopping it felt like I finally found a place I liked at Accenture. I eventually would like to work in tech but Amazon wasn’t first choice. I could use it as a stepping stone. Should I rescind my acceptance?

recently asked a question about going to law school with an accounting degree. follow up on that- if i work 1-2 years at my current firm (offered 72,500 full time after graduating undergrad) and acquire my cpa (courses and exam fees paid for by the firm), then apply to law school, would that be more beneficial? ive been reading a lot that work experience helps with the application, alongside having a high gpa and LSAT score

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. Thoughts on making the shift?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?
