I’m a JD SALT M&A associate at KPMG. Feel free to reach out!
Just reach out on LinkedIn and network with some Big 4 M&A team members. You have the right background. Try to figure out what branch you want to do tho - there are core/Federal, partnership, international, and SALT M&A. They are usually separate teams in Big 4.
DM me if you’re interested in EY

With the current market, you really will have your choice of firms to join. Most will offer around the same thing comp wise after internship. I really stress picking the firm that you think your personality will fit well in with as they are all slightly different when it comes to this.
I'm an incoming tax llm at Georgetown (foreign trained but do not require work sponsorship). Looking to network and find a role in Big4.
Thank you both.
Pretty good especially if NYU, Georgetown, Florida, northwestern llm and if going for a general m&a office (not national).
Which big4? Seems like kpmg recruits the most JD/LLMs so you probably have the best chance there. May as well apply to all though and I’d say if you’re at a decent school you have a good chance. I’m at T30 law school with slightly below average grades and got interviews at EY, PwC, and KPMG (didn’t apply for Deloitte and honestly don’t think they recruit JD/LLM or at least I couldn’t find any info on it).
Start networking now, show interest. You never know if things change, they might not come to your campus for interviews.
I’m international tax at PwC. Feel free to reach out to me, even if you applied to M&A.
