Just curious - How many people out there don’t practice law in any shape or form, but keep renewing their license through required CLE’s etc., and if not practicing law, what type of career path have you chosen/why do you continue to renew?

Because I worked too hard to get it to let it go to save a few hundred a year. I work in legal marketing so my firm pays for it and I have access to free CLEs. I’m also thinking I may do pro bono work again when I get older. I can’t do it now because I’m not covered by the firm’s insurance and they have lots of rules about allowing non-attorney staff to do pro bono work. You never know what might happen in the future. I could wind up desperate enough to take on a clients again *shudder*.

My main concern was shift and i have some health issues and unable to continue in night shift in Mindtree and tech mahindra its purely EMEA shift and per project team update.

Shall i switch to tech Mahindra?

I've been a government attorney for nearly three years now and have worked in the same office/division since I passed the bar. I've yet to receive a promotion other than two cost of living increases (in sum, a pay increase of 6k over 3 years). I know this is meager, but I'm mostly ok with it, I just want to see some recognition. On the other hand, it's hard for me to imagine negotiating because (given my inexperience), I don't feel I'd be able to do better anywhere else. Any advice?
