Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!

Need some advice: Last year I left consulting to take a job in industry (a pay cut, but more freedom, WLB). Due to covid I switched to yet another company (same industry). It’s been half a year at the new place and I absolutely hate it. Not the work, but the company genuinely sucks. Considering a) mba for next fall (just as a reset) or b) job hopping yet again. When a recruiter asks you, in the middle of a screening, how long it would take you to start before being given an offer, what's a reasonable timeframe?
I want time to 1) get and compare with other ops, 2) time to give notice to my team, and 3) a bit of vacation time in between jobs. But I don't want to be ridiculous.

Got an offer from MBB and they want me to start before summer 2021, is it possible to push it to later in the year like after Christmas 2021? I would come in the same level as me previous firm, so pretty much ignoring my past experience, not sure if that matters
