Just got out of the army 4 months ago and started a job at a youth detention center. The job itself is rewarding and great but the hours are terrible (I work 3pm to 11pm) which conflicts with my family time which I cherish very much. I’ve told my supervisor that this shift just isn’t working out and he just chocks it up to seniority being the reason I can’t change my hours. I feel guilty for wanting to leave and I know they need help but it’s really taken a toll on my mental health. Advice?

Hi all, I am trying for role - Customer Engineer GCP. I have 5 years exp in (GCP cloud predominant for 3 years now) DevOps field in Financial Services area including FinTech (Fidelity Investments), Bank (HSBC) & Insurance(CNA Insurance - currently working). Also have a Masters in MIS. I have got & cleared calls from AWS for AWS Developer, Architect roles & failed on-site FB Production Engineer role interview. What about legal work is currently causing your mental health struggles?

Mine’s the hours, which is not normally my issue. I billed 230 for June and July and am already at 145 for August. My ability to focus is getting worse by the day, so I’m working longer to bill the same hours and have had to pull a couple all nighters. I burst into tears this morning when a client changed plans and now wants a major project by end of month, on top of my other deadlines next week... I just want to sleep.

Hey everyone! I am currently working as a BA 3 on market expansion and I want to pivot to financial services. I’d love to do strategy, internal consulting, or BA. Downside is that I don’t have a business degree, I studied healthcare admin. Is that a big deal, especially considering my experience?

I think that I have eating disorder. I am always hungry but when I get food I can’t finish it, usually I am done after 2-3 bites and then I am hungry again after an hour. Anyone has similar issues? Have you been to a nutritionist or dietitian? If yes, is it covered by Insurance?

Amerisourcebergen doesn't care about its employees. We have no mental health awareness. Leadership only promotes people who kiss ass the most qho have no managerial experience and pass people who actually have experience in a manager role. Leadership never helps you with anything.
