Out of curiosity did they give you the GPU /RPU when they matched?
Only way to get access to United lounges domestically is via a one-time pass, annual Club pass, the Club credit card, or *A gold status from another airline (eg, if you are Star Gold on Air Canada or Lufthansa, you DO get United Club access domestically - only United’s own members who are Star Gold and above do not get access, which is ironic).

@BCG2: do you mean PS on trans con? If yes I agree haha - I’m GS but regular ORD to LGA flights don’t get me lounge access still. Have yet to fly transcon on UA but think you’re right ;)
