Partner Interview (6th interview).
Good or Bad?
My referral had interviews w/ (1)
recruiter, (1) SM, then the series of
(3) 1:1's w/(1) MD and (2) SM's.
The recruiter said he will now have
an interview in Jan. w/ the PPMD.
He interviewed for a M role in
consulting for customer marketing.

He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is
qualified for).Deloitte

My SO works in KPMG finance transformation. A lot of days he's on at 6 am and logs off after midnight. It goes in waves for him. But I think he's just on a crazy project, likely not indicative of the whole, just like any firm/practice each project varies so curious to see what other ppl on FB say
I’ve been in FT for 4 years and agree with K2. Average about 45 hours. Sure, there are some weeks and projects that require longer hours, later nights, and earlier mornings, but hasn’t been bad overall.
Honestly it just depends on the project you get put on
Can echo what others above have said. Currently on a project that demands 60-70 hours a week but have been on projects that require 40-45 hours as well. It depends on your team/project but it’s all ebbs and flows.

How common are the heavier projects and how easy / hard is it to avoid the heavier projects?
