KPMG recently hit me with the PIP or Career Transition option and I chose the latter. Gave me 90 days to search for a new role and I still get paid out my salary until my separation date. Something told me a few months ago to start looking for an exit. The same week as the HR call, I was already interviewing in the final round. Received the offer last week. Happy to go! 😁✌🏽

Exciting!! Congratulations!! I’m in a similar situation, trying to get out ASAP and away from consulting
Fortune 250 company. Fortunately, it wasn’t a ton. The role I actually received came from a recruiter who reached out to me first through LinkedIn (I have open to recruiters only on my profile). We started having conversations late March/April and I met the team, had a couple rounds, then had my final round onsite with the rest of the team recently. Their entire process took maybe 3-4 weeks total.
In that same time frame I had put in probably a couple dozen apps and had received a few phone calls. However, I basically stop pursuing those roles and gave this one my full attention and it worked out.
How did you communicate that you are able to join with them 3months later to the new company?
Just confirmed the first week of August for start date. Now I can enjoy this summer!
How fortunate.
It all worked itself out that’s for sure.
