I was in conversations with them to move over from S& couldn’t get close on comp even with a level bump.
Yup that sounds right from what I’ve seen. But high performers may move faster than that. But again, MD / Partners rates are the same, they are treated as almost similar roles. There are however comp differences for obvious reasons. Older MDs often times don’t elect to become partners because it doesn’t make sense financially. Bummed they implemented this way, and didn’t keep it like other firms.

Where did they ask for DAS-specific pay?
When I was there manager and director bonus was up to 30%??
Is this KPMG or KPMG DAS (Deal Advisory / Strategy)? The comp for KPMG won’t compare at all. The comp for DAS should be 15-20 lower to a Strategy& or EYP. That what’s I’ve seen at least…
DAS does compete on projects / clients with EYP. Not comp.
