I gave interview in Amazon and cleared all the rounds , then went on hold and still on hold due to hiring freeze in that departement. HR does respond and update me when reached out.
Interesting thing which happened here is iam cracking each every product based interviews now after my tough preparation for Amazon and getting higher packages than what Amazon would give. So whatever happens , happens for good. Cheers Amazon

Cyber Defense. I’m an Associate up for SA this year, and I’ve looked at all our competitors for alternatives as well. I’m confident we have a better practice than EY. Deloitte and PwC are our main competitors. Ask me anything though, I’m happy to help
Attempting to provide an unbiased opinion for you. We got ranked top Cyber firm by Forrester this year. EY has had a bunch of layoffs lately and PwC I feel is fairly respected as well, and could be worth a look. I’m in our cyber group and think that we’re fairly well respected. Politics crap is present but I think you’ll get that just about anywhere
Doesn’t really matter culture wise probably KPMG
They all have their pros and cons, I would interview and see which is the best fit for you culturally.
Don’t know if the CISSP will give you too much leverage in negotiations if that’s what you’re looking for. App security would definitely be in Defense. There is very much an entrepreneurial spirit here, so if you find a niche that doesn’t exist there is a fair amount of freedom to build your idea. Agree with the majority of what @K2 said. Our risk assurance practice is not great. I’d put us a little closer to Deloitte than @K2 lead onto but i agree that Deloitte is still viewed in the Market as the leader
What group in Cyber are you in KPMG1 ?
EY recruiting is glacial. They’ll fix global warming before EY can give you an offer.
KPMG cyber is good but I am not sure how they are getting compared with Deloitte. Their’s is bigger and much more entrenched with a better off shore support as well. KPMG is getting there but honestly isn’t quite there yet. Culture is good. People are friendly. Same with PwC. Although their cyber practice is a bit limiting to risk assurance and stuff. If you want to get into any other domain it’s a bit meh. Where as KPMG all domains are almost equally good. Again.. not as much as Deloitte though. EY is honestly not even comparable yet with their cyber practice. Their IT Audit is much better than the others I feel.
Thanks for the feedback @KPMG2!
If you want appsec go to accenture . Tech work is their area more than the big 4s.
Also cissp gives you zero bargaining power. If you want appsec bargaining power - take sans 522 (web application security essentials) and then own security for a custom application. That way you will have experience and relevent training
Finally if you want the best chance to get into another big 4 identify each groups largest group.
Submitted PWC app today... Which group provides you with the most opportunity? Any feedback ?
EY has had layoffs in cyber?!
Ah, nice. @KPMG1. I would like to get into application security or something dealing with app security. Most of my experience is in IT compliance and Cyber Security governance. I like to code so hopefully I can market that skill in security. Recently passed the CISSP exam, so hopefully that would give me some bargaining chips.
