A recruiter is *for the most part* going to have their best interests in mind, not yours. Telling you that you won't find anything above what they're offering is a common strategy to try to get you to accept the job offer....

Yes NYC. not fund admin, just back office at the actual fund
Could also be market. Fso is super hot now so qualified and experienced professionals can get a better salary.
80k for fund accounting is solid
Are we talking Hedge Fund services or private equity ?
I would stay away from mutual funds striking NAV three times a day is no good
I’m so holding my breath for Q4 stock market movements now. Not that I care about my personal portfolio, but I really don’t want to deal with NAV guesstimates like 2018 Q4 again
If they are private equity or private investment companies I’d say higher 90 to 100 is right, prob slightly higher but not by much. Idk about big mutual funds, would assume its lower since the work is less specialized and more procedural
